Guard faults every shift

Palletizer cell, access gate: tongue-actuated safety interlock · 12 min

The palletizer cell drops out on a guard fault at least once a shift, and the gate is closed and latched every time it happens. Operations resets it and runs, and the fault comes back the next shift. You have a new interlock switch in your hand and the cell to yourself. Fit it and prove a clean shift, that part is easy. The work order only closes when you name what has been tripping the guard, because a safety circuit that cries wolf every shift is either failing or being lied to, and the answer decides what happens next.
